I am not getting married anytime soon (nor do I want to)… however, I plan on making these things to decorate EVERYWHERE! These would be so flexible as holiday decorations. Spray some red and green and hang them everywhere during Christmas and you can re-paint them based on the season! Talk about an adorable and budget friendly craft project. I have been on a cooking binge lately, in between all of my law school homework. I have been obsessed with cooking Mexican food. Since I am currently an unemployed student, I have been working extra hard to stretch my bucks but to continue to eat healthy. I just decided to make up my own taco seasoning mix, to save money and to make sure I actually know what is in my food! I have experimented with a lot of different combinations of spices and here is my favorite. So, here is my taco seasoning recipe!
1/4 C. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Crushed Chili Pepper Flakes
1 tsp. Dried Mexican Oregano
2 Tbsp. Dried Cilantro
2.5 tsp. Paprika
2.5 Tbsp. Ground Cumin
1.5 Tbsp. Sea Salt
1.5 Tbsp. Black Pepper
Mix all of the ingredients together and store in an airtight container. Use 2 Tbsp. of mixture for every 1 pound of meat, or use as much as you need to taste.
I also use this mixture in to make a Taco Dip. Use 2 Tbsp. with 1 C. Mayonnaise and 1 C. Sour Cream (or Greek Yogurt) and about 1/4 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese!

I have been super stressed with school and everything else going on in my life, that I need to unwind.
