Prayables

Sometimes on this site I like to review sites and products that I come about that I really like. Today I was introduced to this site called Prayables. This site is a great prayer community specifically for women. I like this site because the prayers are short and sweet and designed for the lifestyle of a busy woman. I also appreciate that this site doesn’t specifically target any religion or force viewpoints upon you. I believe that it is primarily a place to stop and pick of words of wisdom and some inspiration. You can join the site like I did and become part of a community of women with the same ideals as you.

Another great feature of this site is that you can find a prayer for whatever topic you are looking for. You can get prayers for weddings, peace, healing, inspiration and even prosperity. One thing I like about Prayables is that it is like a faith based social networking site. I wouldn’t consider myself a highly religious person, but it is open for all faiths and levels of spirituality. It is a place where you can find new thoughts. You can get a “prayer pal” through this network. You can also browse through prayer blogs and see what other people are talking about.

They even have a radio station for you to listen to with scheduled shows that you can call into. I haven’t had the opportunity to hear one yet but I am looking forward to it! They are talking about a variety of topics aimed for women including weight loss, healthy living and relationships to name a few. This is a great community to meet and connect with women you might really enjoy!

Thanks for spreading the word about the Prayables website Kari! I’m enjoying your website and hope to get to know you and your community better in the time ahead. Here’s a little gift for you – a prayer from Prayables called Pennies From Heaven:

    As I wondered
    where the money came from,
    I said to myself:
    What do you think?
That money would fall from the sky?

    Then I realized,
    that’s where all my money
    has ever come from,
even if I earned it on a job
or found it on the street.
Thank You for providing for me,
    now and always.

Help me to do my part.
    Guide me in the direction
    of my next step
    and help me take it.

Once I have what I need,
    remind me of Your favor,
and that the biggest debt I owe
    is to You.
